Following the occasion, Ali Zafar hosted Akhtar for a musical night the place he was seen crooning ‘Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Major’, a Hindi track written by Akhtar and crooned by Kishore Kumar in 1984 for the movie Mashaal.

The video was shared by Twitter consumer Haroun Rashid, who’s a businessman, with the caption, “Such a uncommon pleasure and a privilege to have a night of music and poetry with our brothers and sisters from throughout the border. The grasp Javed Akhtar Sahib in Lahore-it doesn’t get higher than this.” As Ali Zafar crooned the enduring track, Javed joined him in the direction of the top of the track to sing the hook half.
Ali Zafar responded to the tweet by saying, “It was an honour to host him.
